Does the Wii need the controller it comes with for any of the other controllers to work?
Last night there were 4 Wii controllers at my house and i think my friend mistakenly took my main controller for my Wii. My alternate controllers wont connect with the Wii and i was wondering if you need the master controller to connect the other alternative controllers?

As was brought out by one response already- sync each of your remotes by pressing the red buttons (DO NOT DO THE 1 + 2)- that is only temporary.
After all your remotes are synced by pressing the red buttons(permanent sync) on them and the Wii, the light on the remote that is lit will indicate what player that remote is- 1st light= player 1, 2nd light= player 2…and so on. Once you’ve done the permanent sync, the next time you put a new game in- the first remote to hit the “A” button will be player 1, then the next player who hits “A” wil lbe player 2 and so forth.
