How do you Install a Gamecube Controller to a wii? I’ve switched it off, plugged the controller in and switched it back on like it says in the instructions but when I open Mario Karts it comes up with “you must connect the classic controller to the P1 Wii Controller. Which it will not fit in though before purchasing it did say the game was gamecube controller compatible.

A Gamecube controller is plugged in to the provided Gamecube connection ports on the Wii, which are located at the top (if standing) of the console. It does not matter when you plug it in, just before you start playing the game.
